"Partnering with the Angels."

This was presented as a message at our Praying Over our City Meeting

"Partnering with the Angels."   Highlights from
Chapter 3, “Secrets of the Seer” by Jamie Galloway

Jesus is King.  Although he came as a servant, He is now King.  God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit are one triune God.  To ask God to do all the work himself is like asking the King to mow the lawn.  A king has servants and God has a host of heavenly beings.

When the Kingdom of God is expanding, then the dominion of His rule expands, and the enemies of the Kingdom weaken.

Jesus named the enemies:  Sickness, broken hearts, poverty, oppression and death.

Angels heed the voice of His Words.  God wants to speak through you, because you are His voice on the earth to activate the heavenly kingdom.

Psalms 102:19-22 The LORD has prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom rules over all. Bless the LORD, you his angels that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You who serve Him, doing His will. Bless the LORD, all you works of His, In all places of His dominion; Bless the LORD, O my soul!

Angels wait and listen for the voice.  God’s words come out of our mouth.  Angels agree with God’s words and take action.

Matthew 18:16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.'

We agree with God’s word, and speak and the angels hear from the Holy Spirit and move to do God’s will.

There may be times we have entertained angels and did not realize it.  Hebrews 13:2 Be kind to strangers, for some have entertained angels unawares.

Various persons in the Bible did not consider it was an angel visiting until later. Peter was released from prison by an angel.  The angels who visited Lot came in the form of men.  Abraham did not suspect the three (3) men who came to announce that he would have a son, were angels until later.

Elijah could see into the spiritual atmosphere and was able to view the army of the Lord on horses ready to protect them from the enemy.

Angel visits were through out the Old and New Testament.  Angels shut the lion’s mouths and preserved Daniel.

Angels came to minister to Jesus after he had fasted for 40 days.  Jesus was tempted and battled to keep his will tuned to the Father’s will.

Saul who became Paul, saw a bright light that blinded him.  He heard a voice telling him where to go and what to do.

Angels often appear as lights carrying gifts.  James 1:17  Every good and perfect gift is from God. This kind of gift comes down from the Father who created the heavenly lights. These lights create shadows that move. But the Father does not change like these shadows.

Heaven is full of light and glory.  Often when angels appear they seem as flashes of light from the corner of your eyes.  Be aware next time this happens to you, because angels are all around.

Hebrews 1:3  The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Hebrews 1:13-14 Now to which of the angels has He ever said: Sit at My right hand until I make your enemies your footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Angels create an atmosphere for the presence of God.  The more you seek Jesus and His presence; it will be revealed to you, there is more than just knowledge that angels exist to experiencing a life filled with angelic activity.   Angels love to worship God and they join in when you worship Jesus.

Entertaining angels is not worshiping them, but partnering with them to minister.

Angels refuse worship and John was chastised when he bowed to an angel.  “Only worship God for I am a servant like you are,” the angel told him.

Angels perform the Word of God.  Psalms 103:20 Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.

We speak God’s Word and angels respond.  The angel told Daniel, I have come because of your words.  Daniel 10:12  Declaring the Word of God brings heaven to earth.

Angels are on assignment to ensure that God’s Kingdom is growing and to bring assistance so that Jesus is Glorified.

Every time a work of God is done on earth by His people, the Kingdom expands and the enemy is weakened. We obey and acting out of generosity, cast a demon off an oppressed soul, speak life; bring healing to a broken heart or body;  Give to the poor, raise a child in grace and wisdom, we help expand the Kingdom of God on earth.

When angels become aware of the works of God being accomplished, they step into a place of action.

In the last days angels will preach the gospel.   Record numbers in foreign lands are testifying they came to Jesus after a vision, a dream or a visitation by an angel.

Psalms 34:7  The angel of the LORD encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.

Angels hear us speak and are activated to do God’s will on earth.  Angels are in motion as they hear God’s words through your voice.

How Does Jesus Judge?

From my notes, I present an edited Bible Study taught by our teacher Linda at our Church

This is my blood and my broken body

Our Bible Study began with taking communion, and a reading from the Bible, about Remembering Christ’s death; that his blood was shed, and his body was broken for you and me.

God was displeased with King Saul who in direct disobedience had taken it upon himself to light the sacrifice.  God’s judgment was to lift the Holy Spirit from King Saul.  Instead, a spirit of melancholy and jealousy troubled him.  Samuel was sent to the house of Jesse, because one of his sons was to become anointed as a new king.

1 Samuel 16:1 The LORD said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king."

God was pleased with David’s son Solomon who later became king, but God warned him:   1 Chronicles 28:9 "And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

Peter reminds us that we are special.  God has chosen to dwell in us and we are in Him.  Jesus reminded us that He is in the Father, and the Father in Him, and He is in us; by the Holy Spirit.

1 Peter 2:9 You are God's chosen and special people. You are a group of royal priests and a holy nation. God has brought you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

As Jesus ministered on earth, many of the Religious leaders judged him.  They accused Him of having a devil, and that he was preaching strange doctrine.

Jesus said in the law it is written by 2 or 3 witness’s truth will be made known.

John 8:15-19  “You judge according to the flesh; I am not judging anyone. “But even if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and the Father who sent Me. “Even in your law it has been written that the testimony of two men is true. “I am He who testifies about Myself, and the Father who sent Me testifies about Me.” So they were saying to Him, “Where is Your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father; if you knew Me, you would know My Father also.”

Jesus spoke of his death, and that soon He would be leaving.  The people and also his disciples did not understand and they questioned, where is he going?  Why does he say in a little while?

Jesus confronted them, because he knew they wanted to kill him.  The leaders denied that anyone wanted him dead, but knew in their hearts that he was speaking truth.  The people claimed to be the seed of Abraham, but Jesus told them, if that were so, you would believe me, but because you do not believe, your father is the devil for he is a liar and a murderer from the beginning. They thought as long as they did not steal and murder they would be okay.

The Jewish people were attacking Jesus very being and especially His words; feeling that they justified in trying to kill Jesus.  They told Jesus, you are not yet fifty years old, and how can you speak of being with Abraham?  Jesus said, before Abraham was, “I AM.”  Jesus was using the Old Testament name of God that was given to Moses, (tell them “I AM” has sent you.)  This statement placed Jesus as God and they knew his meaning.  Now they were serious about putting Him to death – saying he blasphemed.

Jesus willingly took the assignment to go to the cross and shed His blood, and his body to be broken.  Upon his resurrection, Jesus became our High Priest.  The Priest could not enter the Holy of Holies unless he was without sin and had been purified.

Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in LIFE by one, Jesus Christ.

Samuel came to anoint David to become the new King.  God said, “Don’t look on the face or his height.  God had rejected King Saul because of his sins.  The Lord looks on the heart and chose Solomon to become the next king.

Understand that when you accept Jesus as your Lord that he creates in you a clean heart.  Jesus intercedes in heaven for you that your faith will not fail.

Allow the Holy Spirit to show you how to respond when you are challenged for your faith.

Keep your heart (attitude) right and your ears ready to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.

The Blood Of Jesus

Our Sunday morning service was a bit different as our Bible Study Teacher Linda, had set up a small table in the front of the sanctuary, with lovely prayer shawl as a table cloth, a beautiful water pitcher, four small bowels, and a shallow rectangular bowl in the center. A purple cloth covered the front of the table.

Linda spoke about the blood of Jesus and its power to bring life out of death.   She read the scripture admonishing leaders and ministers to be worthy to lead a people purchased by the Blood of Jesus.

Acts 20:28  Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood

1 Peter 2:9 admonishes us to realize;  You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

She spoke about Jesus being struck on the head, buffeted on the face and then beaten with 39 stripes, as his blood was poured out.  He was forced to carry his own cross to the hill where they would crucify him.  As he staggered His blood was spilled all over the city of Jerusalem.  The blood of Jesus has power to cleanse, to heal and to protect.

The early Priests would slay an innocent lamb and sprinkle the blood upon the people.  The Priests would have their ear and feet anointed with the blood.

Linda asked me to come forward and to dip my hands in the water and sprinkle seven (7) times on a map of our city lying on the table.  As I completed the seventh dipping and sprinkling of the water,  with tears in my eyes, the Holy Spirit had me turn and face the people and hold my hands over the congregation.  Linda thanked me and called for selected spiritual men to come forward and anoint the pastor on his ear and feet with the water.  Each gentleman was then given one of the small bowls with water, and they were to go through the congregation and sprinkle a bit of water on each person.

All this was to symbolize the power of the blood and a covering for sin.  The anointing was very strong all during this portion of the service.

~ ~ ~

About this time the lights went out and many came to the front and knelt or lay prospect as they prayed and worshipped Jesus.  Pastor went to see what was happening.  After a time Pastor came in with about 2 feet of metal wrapped with tape, and said this is a transformer that was held together with band aids.

The problem has been corrected, but this reminds us that to have POWER with God, you must be properly connected.  Not patched together and barely held together.  We must have a personal relationship with Jesus.

If we are not careful we justify our negligence of not walking a holy life, and we become deceived.

The Lord has laid it upon my heart about the Glory of God.  The Book of Acts is doable today.  Peter and John had walked by the crippled man in the past, but on that day they connected with the power and the miracle of the resurrection.  The Power of Life energized new life in the man’s body and he was healed.

The Psalmist reminds us that God knows me in all my ways.  Nothing can be hid from Him and he knows our thoughts and the imaginations of our heart.

Psalms 139:23 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.

We can understand the Heart beat of God.

David faced the lion, and then the Giant, but he recognized that His God was powerful and granted him the power to overcome.  David acknowledged God was ever present to be with him.  David came in the Name of his God, as he faced the giant.

Understand that God is always present, when you are on the mountain top, or in the valley, He is there.  He has not forsaken you.  God is always going to be around. God knows your weakness and your strengths.  You can count on Him.  People may let you down, but God never will.  Come to church to get powered up, and then take it out with you.

Every one of us is special to God.  There is no sibling revelry.  You are God’s favorite.

The power of the Blood of Jesus is shed abroad and reaches out to you.  It flows as a crimson river to cleanse and cover you.

A year ago we were evacuated.  Our leaders were scared, about the dam and the spillway.  The Sherriff was wise to be on the safe side.  We know what a flood can do as it washes away homes and cars in its wake.  God spared Oroville and we know God loves our city.

God is stretching out his arms right now.  Come to the front if you would like to pray.

Now I can See

From my notes I present a digested lesson from our Bible Study on Sunday Morning.

God is a covenant maker and Jeremiah prophesied:   Jeremiah 31:33 "But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days," declares the LORD, "I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

God’s laws are perfect:  Psalms 19:7  The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.

Jesus said that His judgment is true:

John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again: "I AM the light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life."

John preached that Jesus is the true light of the world.  John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lights every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness could not put it out.

We considered the story in John 9: 1-18 of the man who was blind and Jesus healed him bringing LIGHT into his once darkened world.

The culture of that day was to curse those who were blind.  Name calling was common and spitting on the blind person was also a method to curse them.  Jesus used the method of the spit curse, to spit on clay and rub it in the man’s sightless eyes.  “Go and wash in the pool of Siloam” Jesus told the man.  The man obeyed and came away seeing.  Many were witnessed that this blind man could now see.

In the mouth of two or three witnesses a fact would be considered true.  2 Corinthians 13:1 This third time I am coming unto you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

The Jewish leaders asked the man’s parents; “Is this your son and was he born blind?  How did this happen.”  The man’s parents said, “Yes, this is our son, but how he is now seeing we do not know.”  They were afraid if they said more they would be put out of the synagogue.

The culture then and still is in some lands; the “mind set” that a male child is most important.  There is usually a very close 'Father – Son' relationship.  Jesus came to reveal the Father, and openly said, He could do nothing of himself, but only did as the Father told him to do.  He only spoke from the Father’s heart the words from heaven.

Jesus being the Light of the world, brought light into this blind man’s dark existence.

Jesus brings Light into our sinful darkness and changes us into his light.  We were blind, but now I see.

The man did not ask to be healed.  How did Jesus do this?  Did He form new eyes from the mud?  Did the scales come off when the man washed?  We do not really know, but the man gave Jesus credit for being a prophet.

Allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you and show you things that need to be washed and removed.

Let the Holy Spirit to speak to you and shed light on certain subjects you have been questioning.

The Holy Spirit will use a willing vessel and comfort others through your obedience.
Share with others maybe a scripture of just a few words from the inner spirit to comfort your friends or family.

Deuteronomy 19:15  A fact must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses."   Jesus was challenged by the Religious leaders, but his works confirmed that He is the messiah.  Jesus chose the pathway of earthly birth, to grow and become a man.  Many acknowledged and said, “You are the Christ. You are the Son of God.”

Many believed on Him, yet others questioned: “Who are you?  Where is your father?”  Even when Jesus told them plainly, I AM the way, I AM the Bread, I AM the LIGHT, they refused to understand.

Each of us must answer the question:  “Who is Jesus to you?  Is Jesus the Christ to you?”

Change in our City

Sunday Morning Sermon at Open Door Church was by James, and my notes reflect an edited message.

People often ask “Where are you from?” and although I live in Oroville, my reply was usually; Chico, because no one knows where Oroville is.  Oroville is considered poor and in darkness.  I was embarrassed to admit I was from Oroville, because of the homeless and drug addiction situation here.

The first time I visited this Oroville church, my thoughts were “What am I doing here?  I don’t want to be here?  Then God changed my heart.  We need to pray for heart changes.

Oroville has many treasures not yet discovered.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

We need to go out and tell others about Jesus.  At times we hesitate and feel helpless to share our testimony, but God will go with us so do not fear:

1 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

The church at Corinth disappointed Paul.  They drifted back into their old ways and made foolish decisions.   Understand it is never hopeless even if new believers don’t measure up to our expectations.

Every day there is something new as we go about simply doing our work for God.  Use what you have and expect God to bring the increase.

Our community is open and being reached; our Hope Center is ministering to many.  Here at Open Door, our Sunday morning feeding before church is blessing many.  Do come out to the Wednesday Night Bible Study.

Satan desires to discourage, but it is time to realize we can do something about change in our city.  We can prophesy and predict change in the hearts of our citizens.

About that time, a lady in the front row spoke up and held up a small wooden box offering it to James.  He reached out and received it and said, this box contains marijuana and the lady is giving it up.

God will remove the "thing" that she thought needed the marijuana.  We suffer but God is able to fill up the lack and the needs we have.

The heart of God is broken as he sees the many needs, but He rejoices as people turn to Him and allow Him to remove their pain and sorrow.

God is sending angels to open prison doors.  He desires to lift people out of all their troubles.

You can pray anywhere.  I pray in my truck, and know Jesus is sending hope to the hopeless.  If people think I am talking to myself, I wave at them.

Start marching for Jesus.  Let the Holy Spirit show you how to minister.  Our community needs our witness.  The Holy Spirit will magnify and multiply what you do in Jesus name.
~ ~ ~

Pastor Allan took the microphone and shared:  There are some really bad things in Oroville, but God is working to change all that.  God has a purpose and a good plan for our city and He desires to rise up an army of believers.

Hebrews 8:10 I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Ezekiel 11:19 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.

We will dismiss, and please come to the front of you desire prayer.  Many went forward.

By My Spirit Says the Lord

Our Bible Study each Sunday Morning is taught by Linda and was centered on the Light and Life of Jesus and His Power.  I took notes and present an edited message.

Zechariah 4:6 Then he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts.

The word “Political,” is the complex or aggregation of relationships of people in society, whose relationship involves authority and power.  Jesus ministered with authority and Power.  The Jews were always trying to trick Jesus and test Him.

Matthew 22:34- Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

In the beginning Genesis 1:1-15 God said, “Let there be Light and it was so.”

Jesus was speaking in John 8:12 - - "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."

The Light of Life is both Eternal life and the power of the Holy Spirit to work the miraculous.

Paul spoke in Ephesians to be strong in the POWER of His might; and be equipped to be able to deal with the enemy.

 Ephesians 6:10-18  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armor of God taking the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and Pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

It is important to be grounded in the Word of God, and also to be filled with the Holy Spirit.  Jesus said, “You shall have power after that the Holy Ghost comes.”

Those steeped in the Jewish culture did not understand what Jesus was saying.  It made no sense to them as they held his message up against their teachings.

Jesus spoke about a city on a hill cannot be hid, and that He is the Light of Life and my spirit shall be in you.

Be encouraged and trust in the everlasting arms of our Father God.

Isaiah 51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

Revelation flows from God and John spoke in 1 John 5:18 to keep yourself from sin so that the wicked one does not touch you.  Stay away from idols and worship the Lord God only.  Do not be deceived but follow Truth.

John continued, Jesus is alive and we have seen Him, confess him as Lord so that your joy may be full.

The basic old sin nature needs to die on the cross with Jesus and be made new by rising together with Christ to live a new life in Him.

Jesus turned and said now YOU are the light of the world.  Let your light so shine so men may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Jesus did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill the law.  He who the SON sets free IS free indeed.  It is not time to waver back and forth from light to darkness.  Stay in the Light.  It is so simple, and deeper than we usually go in the Word.  Shame comes in the darkness.  The thing is it is really terrible when there is NO shame associated with sin.

The Jews were taken away captives because they left the Light that was given to them.

In the church we must yield to that which is in the Word yet realize not everyone is where we may be in understanding.  Therefore we are not to be in judgment, but we show love by encouraging each believer to walk close to Jesus and to go deeper in Him.  Not in a proud or superior manner, but gently, let your light shine.

Remove the basket covering your light and lift it high setting it on a candlestick.  Take the light of the world that is in you – out to your world.  Others will notice something is different about you and will want what you have.

As you have opportunity do what ever your hand finds to do and do it with all your might, and in the power of the Holy Spirit that is in you.  It matters, so where ever you go, let it show;  In spite of the circumstances.

A Heavenly Language

Power From Heaven

Does Heaven have its own language?  Is this Language more powerful than any other?

Speaking and Praying in other tongues is using a Heavenly Language.  Often others will hear in their own language your words, but what you speak and what they hear may be two different things.  To you it may be gibberish, but to the hearer it is a language.  Interesting !

On YouTube is a very good message about Tongues and reasons for using this gift.

After viewing this very informative video, I had some thoughts that may interest you.

Remember Adam and Eve in the Book of Genesis?  What language do you think they spoke?  It must have been the same language that God speaks, and I doubt that it was English.  Consider that they spoke a Heavenly Language and communicated with God in God’s natural tongue.  This language had power and strength when believed to accomplish the impossible.  Adam and Eve took this language with them when they were escorted out of the garden.

As people grew in number they decided to build a tower to reach heaven.  They were all speaking this Heavenly Language derived from the beginning in the garden.  God knew that they could accomplish anything they set their mind to do; and were in agreement with one another.  Even a tower to reach heaven?  Impossible you say, but God thought otherwise.

God made a decision and that was to remove the Language of Heaven, bring confusion and disburse to everyone different earthly languages.   Now their communication with each other was like babble and they could no longer understand each other.  This resulted in a separation of groups each leaving with their family; going in different directions and the building of the tower stopped.

When Jesus gave the 400 who gathered on the mountain the instructions to return to Jerusalem and wait for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit - - only 120 considered his commandment important.  We still have people today who feel this Baptism of Fire and speaking in other tongues is really not important, but Jesus thought it was extremely necessary.

Jesus said, “You shall receive POWER after that the Holy Spirit Baptizes you.”

The prophets of old prophesied that this out pouring would happen and that marvelous encounters with God would occur.

What is the secret to the Glory and Power to generate the Works of God?

God was restoring the Heavenly Language where nothing would be impossible to those who pray using their gift of tongues.  After Pentecost - - the Heavenly language would activate heaven’s door to open gifts that could be sent down from heaven to mankind with power to do the greater works of Jesus.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord

Are you willing to activate the most powerful weapon in the armor of God?  It is to loose the tongue to pray in Heaven’s Language.  This language calls forth the angelic host to come and partner with you to do the miraculous.

It is time to set aside your preconceived ideas that tongues are okay, but not really needed.

Take note what is happening around you when you lay aside your prodigious traditional thinking and embrace the power that is available to you, in utilizing your Heavenly Language.

Understand that knowing and doing are two different things.   Set aside time to pray using your gift.

When I walk in my yard, when I drive my car, I sing in tongues, and generate a change in the atmosphere, so can you.

Bi-Location: Two Locations at Once

At our Prayer meeting "Praying over our city"  I presented this lesson on BI-Location and also gave out a handout on chapter one; “Location.”  Gleaning from a book I am reading: “Secrets of the Seer," by Jamie Galloway.

Taking a look at chapter two, we will consider Bi-Location.  Bi meaning two.  Two places at once or being in two places all at the same time.

As we look around us we see the visible things on earth.  However if our spiritual eyes were opened like the prophet prayed for his servant to see - - then we would be amazed at another dimension filled with many angels and heavenly hosts.  They are there to protect us, comfort us and do our bidding as we pray.  There is a real dimension higher than our mind can see.

Jesus was speaking to Nicodemus and notice Jesus is saying He is in heaven, but here he is on earth talking to Nicodemus. Two places at once!  John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Ephesians 2:6 says we are seated with Christ in heaven, but we are also here on earth.
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Col 3:2 Paul tells us to “Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.”

Heaven on earth is the secret to manifest the miraculous.  When we prophesy as we pray, we are speaking from the Father’s heart, our God who is in heaven.  Accurately we are in a sense in heaven and on earth as we prophesy as we pray.

Paul says we have been crucified with Christ, raised with Him, and we now live in the flesh. (a natural body)  When we speak of “Flesh” we often think of sinful flesh, but know this that Jesus ministered in the Flesh, and God loves to use flesh to accomplish His will.

God seeks people like you and me to do mighty works.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

We understand Jesus is in heaven, but Jesus is also in ME and in YOU.  Jesus is in more than one place all at the same time.

1 Timothy 3:16  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

In these days, many believers who live in the “flesh” are having spiritual encounters where they are taken up into heaven and beholding the wonders God is preparing for us.

In the Bible, we read about Paul going there, and wondering if his body stayed on earth while he was in heaven - - because all was so real and he thought his body was in heaven.

Our question then is this:  What is heaven doing in my life?

Rev Galloway gives some practical steps to access the secrets of heaven on earth:

First: Start off in the natural world where you live.  Read your Bible, Pray and seek to know God in a deeper way.  Love one another.

1 Corinthians 15:46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual.

Know that there are natural occurring phenomenon's occurring in your life that are more spiritual than you realize.

Second:  Watch the clock.

God works in times and seasons.  Certain numbers may stand out to you.  Compare them with scripture.

Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

As we pay attention to the voice of the Holy Spirit and the knowledge of God in everything, we are looking for evidence of Heaven touching earth.

The Glory of God

From my notes I present a digested Sermon at our Church Sunday Morning

The Glory - Art courtesy Cindy Elsharouni

Pastor Allan was speaking and urging us to recognize that God has shown up today.  During worship God has met needs as individuals step to the altar, and some into the fellowship hall to be prayed for.  It is important to focus on the direction of the Holy Spirit and how He desires to go.

No matter how much God has done for you, there is still twisted thinking about the goodness of God.  We must remind ourselves that nothing can separate us from God’s Love.

At times we separate ourselves especially when we have a “Bad Day.”  We may argue and fight on the way to church, and when we arrive, we put on our church face.

We must reconcile between the doing of service and our “feelings.”  It is time to separate all the “Stuff” that troubles us.  Posture yourself to enter into His presence and separate all else from your mind.  Focus on Jesus.  The veil was torn down that separated us from the Holy of Holies.  We may now boldly enter in.

We are soon entering into the Easter Season.  Every day we need to recognize Jesus not only died for us, but He is alive and He IS risen.

The Holy Spirit causes fear to leave.  It must go.  Do not fret and be willing to wait patiently.  Perfect love casts out fear.  Be free from all that which causes you to fear.

Commit and trust.  Psalms 37:5  Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

People need to hear the gospel truth, because there are many needs for a miracle.  God wants to take care of our needs, what ever they are.

As a church we must be flexible for God to heal during the service.  We have several testimonies of healing during today’s service.

We lay hands and expect Him to heal and make us whole.  We are NOT moved by what we see; if healing is not manifested immediately.  Many were healed by Jesus, as they went.

Jesus was anointed to do the works of God and He sends us to continue His works.

Anointing is when God uses man or woman and the glory of God shows up.  We have to expect God to show up.  We declare we are in the Holy of Holies right now.

Habakkuk saw that glory.  Habakkuk 1:1 The divine revelation that the prophet Habakkuk saw; And he was filled with the knowledge of the Lord.

Our city needs the “Glory of God.  If you are not in a relationship with God, then you won’t understand.  With Knowledge comes understanding that God’s glory is here.  Be aware of it.

Question:  Did you “feel” the presence of God?  Some sense his presence differently.  He confirms His Word with signs following.

Even an unbeliever will recognize that God was there.  We see the miracle of salvation and that is awesome.  We need to change the way we talk with unbelief.  Know the Glory of God is real and can’t be denied.

It is important to “know Jesus,” and signs and wonders will come.

God appeared to the children of Israel as a consuming fire.  Moses entered the glory.

Exodus 24:16-18  The glory of the LORD rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days; and on the seventh day He called to Moses from the midst of the cloud. And to the eyes of the sons of Israel the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the mountain top.  Moses entered the midst of the cloud as he went up to the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

God desires to show up today as he did on Mt Sinai.

Some enter our church and feel God’s presence so thick.  The reality is that God has taken up residence in the individuals and we carry it out to our neighborhoods.

The Pastor does not have to bare the responsibility of everything, because the Glory of God rests on the people who carry His glory.

Leviticus  9:24  And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

At Pentecost there were tongues of “Fire” and the people became the sacrifice and the Holy spirit came down and consumed them.  They then carried the glory outside the room where they were assembled.

We could bring in some evangelists who walk in a heavy anointing, but we can partake of that now.  God is raising up prophets and evangelists in this house as we continue to be in His presence.

Step into the Glory of God and allow Him to consume you.  He will separate those things that are not necessary in your life.  The whole earth was filled with His presence . . . Lord cover our city, cover our State and cover our Nation with a fresh and new manifestation of God’s presence.

Harvest is here.  God is calling people to Oroville.  He has declared this is His land.

Before you show up for church, posture your heart to be prepared to enter the Glory.  Each of us need to step out in faith and be obedient to the Holy Spirit.

LOCATION

We meet on Wednesday mornings to pray for our City, our State and our Nation.  We have a short Bible lesson before we pray.  Presented is our lesson as we Pray for our city from the location of the Heavenly places.

“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”  Ephesians 2:6

When I wake up earlier than usual I have began a new practice in the morning.

First: Take dogs out, get coffee and read a chapter from my Bible . . .  then read from a Spirit Filled book about encounters with God.

I am reading “Secrets of the Seer by Jamie Galloway.  In the Old Testament, the Prophets were called “Seer’s” because they "SAW" the secrets from the Father God’s Heart.  This is true today, and although we are not all “Prophets” or “Seers,” we have been given the privilege to enter into God’s presence and He will reveal to us HIS secrets.  Paul said, I would that you all Prophesy (See and say what is in the Father's Heart.)

As I read today, Rev Galloway mentions Adam and Eve in the garden being able to “See God” and Talk with God himself as they walked with Him in the cool of the evening.  Their eyes were open to SEE things about the garden, the animals, and all around them.  And then - - they sinned.  God came looking for them, and they heard his voice and hid among the trees.  God called, “Where are you?  (He knew where they were, but God wanted them to admit to Him their location.)

An interesting thing came to my understanding as I read this.  Here was Adam and Eve, now in their sinful state, and they were still able to hear God’s voice, and to SEE Him.  My question was WHY could they still see God in their sinful position?  The Lord said to me - - It was because of their “Location.”

They were still in the perfect garden where all was beautiful and wonderful.  However because of their sin, they realized they were naked, and God performed the first blood sacrifice in order to make clothes from animal skins to cover their bodies.  No longer could they stay in that wonderful Paradise of the Garden, but now it was necessary for them to leave their present “Location” and enter a world of hard work, shame, and suffering.

As soon as they were escorted out of the garden by the angels of God; they ceased to see God.   Now it was necessary for them to have a go between (a Seer; a Prophet) to speak for God the Mysteries of Heaven.

The question for today is:  “How can we as human individuals SEE God and HEAR his voice?

May I suggest:  The answer is LOCATION.  Find your secret place and enter into the HOLY of Holies because the curtain has been torn down making available to you a place to meet God and SEE Him.

Take time in this location, to read your Bible and speak to God.  First Honor him; (Hallowed be thy Name.)  Understand that He desires to set up His Kingdom on earth (in the hearts of men and women.)  His will is that NO one should perish.  Ask for souls to be born into His kingdom.  Ask for your daily “bread” your needs of the day.  Be sure to ask forgiveness and to forgive those who have caused you worry.  Understand His POWER and GLORY will continue with you all of this day as you leave the “Location” of your closet.

You will take His presence with you and will be able to SEE things around you that were invisible to you prior to meeting God this morning.  You may find that God reveals to you needs of people you meet - - probably not to speak of it, but to pray for them.  Other times you may approach your friends and offer them council from God’s heart.

Be ready for this is a New Day and God is on His Throne and you are there with Him.
