Your stories truly inspire me! Good work all !!
Today I used some pet clippers that I purchased from WalMart, and gave Luke my long haired black lab, a grooming hair cut. Luke loved it. Buck, My short haired black lab, whined and wanted the clippers down his back also. Buck’s hair is so short it was just a back rub for him, but both dogs enjoyed the combing afterwards.

ReplyDeleteHi Hazel,
ReplyDeleteI grew up with 3 generations of golden retrievers, and they all loved any kind of grooming! Thanks for the great post & for hosting the linkup, & God bless,
Laurie
I recieved your book and have just finished reading it. I think one of the best options God added to the human mind was the memory. It allows us to store those special instances and events that bring such joy when revisited. More importantly we don't have to purchase a ticket to get in and there is no limit on how many times we can return to revisit those places, those times or those people which always remain the same in our memory. I felt a nostalgic joy when reading your book as I related to similar cherished times and events as you wrote about in your book. As I was reading, it occurred to me how I wish I could have spent time with your Dad Bryce, your uncle Clarence, and your mom, the stories they could have shared would have been extremely interesting to me. I know I could have learned much from them.
ReplyDeleteGreat job in writting your book. I am sure that Bob is very proud of your effort and personally I am very happy to have such a talented sister-in-law.
Wishing you both the very best,
Jerry and Terry
My husband retrieved the mail late last night—the book was in the mail! I just opened it and started leafing through, and it looks to be a treasure of stories to ponder. Hazel, thank you for sharing this with me!
ReplyDeleteGratefully,
Ann
