Finding those Lucky Four Leaf Clovers takes patience !!

Today is Saint Patrick’s day and we are reminded of the shamrock.  In Irish tradition the three leaves symbolize FAITH, HOPE and LOVE.  If there is a fourth leaf it is for LUCK.

My thoughts went to my childhood adventures searching for four leaf clovers on our lawn.  If I was patient and took my time, eventually I would find the elusive Lucky four leaf clover, and I felt very lucky (and blessed!)

A popular song of that day was "I'm Looking Over A Four Leaf Clover"
I'm looking over a four leaf clover
That I overlooked before
First is the sunshine, the second is rain
Third is the roses that bloom in the lane

There's no need explaining
The one remaining is somebody I adore
I'm looking over a four leaf clover
That I overlooked before

Psalm 1:2-3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

I've heard that the 3-leaf shamrock also symbolizes the Trinity! Thanks for hosting & God bless!

Love inlinkz, Hazel! It is so much easier and faster! Loved your reminiscing on St. Patrick's Day. I always liked that song too :)

Hazel - I am so glad you shared the words to that song. Although I have heard it before, I am not sure I paid attention to the words. What hit me is how we can so overlook that which we may have seen before & miss the blessings right in front of our very eyes. I am so glad that you shared those words this morning. Blessings today!!!
